The shape of the acoustic screen is determined by the stand. Stand is a supporting metal structure that carries the main load. The stand is covered with hot zinc, providing high-quality protection of metal structural parts from corrosion. The thickness of the protective layer of the zinc coating is not less than 80 microns. By agreement with the customer, their color polymer coating is allowed according to GOST 9.410-88.

Along the rack, grooves are arranged to fix the noise protective panels. At the bottom of the rack there is a flange for attaching to the foundation. There are stops at the top of the rack so that the screen is locked. Lids are installed on top of the racks to protect the racks from debris and rain.

Installation, performance, and safety requirements

Installation of acoustic screens screens is carried out on a pre-prepared foundation of screw, bored piles or on a designed strip foundation with embedded elements located on it. The choice of the foundation type carried out on the basis of a feasibility study and engineering-geological surveys.
When installing acoustic screens, it is extremely important to ensure the integrity of the screen design. Cracks and gaps are not allowed.
For the passage of residents at the intersection of the road with pedestrian zones (pedestrian paths, crossings, bus stops, etc.), for technological needs, technological breaks or doors are provided for in the design of the screen.
The modular construction and the minimum number of connecting nodes allow to quickly mount and replace damaged elements of acoustic screens sections.
Due to using the corrosion protection on the coating, applied by hot dip galvanizing and the absence of welding work during installation, the service life of the screen structure is at least 10 years.
Screens can be operated in open atmospheric conditions at temperatures from -55 ºС to +50 ºС.
If the axis of the acoustic screens is combined with the lighting poles, the lighting poles are bypassed by the screen, or the light source is mounted on a screen stand. Posts can be provided by places for fastening traffic signs (installation of signs is carried out in accordance with GOST 52289).
Acoustic screens should not violate the surface drainage system from the carriageway and roadsides. When the acoustic screen is crossed it is recommended to use for drainage purposes road drainage trays with closed covers.
